Crambe Seed Oil
Crambe seed oil is an excellent, natural alternative to using silicones as a cosmetic ingredient, and is a wonderful substitute to jojoba oil. In comparison to jojoba oil, crambe seed oil contains far more erucic acid, allowing it to leave hair and skin with a healthy, glossy shine much like silicone would. It provides skin with a light, non greasy feeling, adding to its popularity as a naturally moisturising and nourishing oil.
Though it does have a slight, pleasant odor, crambe seed oil will not compete with any fragrance added to cosmetic formulae but can be used to scent cosmetics on its own.
Uses for crambe seed oil include (but are not limited to):

Creams
Lip Balms
Hair Care Products
